I ran into this issue trying to run an Android app I am working on. Actually, my first one. Its been a while since I actually worked on it. A co-worker (and friend) asked about it, and responded with an “Oh yeah, I should probably finish that.” I was very close to finishing it and thought let me finish it over the weekend. I open Netbeans clicked run and bam, I see this.
init:
deps-jar:
Compiling 1 source file to /Users/eliotpearson/elcode/PingCheck/build/classes
compile:
Updating zip: /Users/eliotpearson/elcode/PingCheck/dist/PingCheck.apk_
THIS TOOL IS DEPRECATED. See –help for more information.
Debug Certificate expired on 9/10/11 8:12 PM
/Users/eliotpearson/elcode/PingCheck/nbproject/build-impl.xml:490: exec returned: 1
BUILD FAILED (total time: 3 seconds)
Years ago I probably would have panicked when I saw this but now I have Google. I searched for, “debug certificate expired.” I came across this link on Stack Exchange. Its very simple to resolve. Just find the debug.keystore and delete it.

Did you pick up the full game? I stopped playing after Modern Warfare 3 came out.
