Should I switch my site to DoFollow comments?
I have been thinking about this recently. I wanted to encourage more comments on my site and I believe this will help. I will probably have to moderate the comments but I think its worth it. I have to read the comments anyway to response.:) I would like to hear your thoughts about the topic.

Well, I’m mostly “for” do-follow, but on my blog I only offer do-follow on links created by CommentLuv, that way I’m sure that at least its other bloggers getting something out of it, and not people trying to take advantage by putting keywords as their name when commenting.
So if you decide to go fully do-follow, I’d recommend you setup a comment policy and not allow people to use keywords as name – unless of course you just want a ton of comments, because you’ll get sooo many “nice post, very informative, thank you”-comments.

Klaus, thanks for the great advice. I will have to look at a developing a good comment policy. Right now I am using Askimet for SPAM filtering and reviewing what gets through that. I really like CommentLuv. I think its a great feature and will look to integrate it in my blog in the future. Are you using a WordPress plugin for CommentLuv?
